Winter Gardens
The Winter Gardens is a one of the best maintained complexes in the area. With a great location, high quality apartments, a friendly atmosphere and a gorgeous heated pool, this is a place where many people visit time and time again.
Winter Gardens is well situated a few minutes walk to the Golf Del sur marina and it's lovely sea front restaurants. Within 100 yards of the complex are some quiet restaurants and a supermarket. An approximate 10-15 minute walk to the main shopping centre where there are more bars, restaurants, shops and nightly entertainment.
The pool area at Winter Gardens is one of the main attraractions. Being well designed it's a real sun trap and keeps the sun until it sets, thus making the pool bar a lovely place to watch the sun go down. For the swimmers amongst us, the pool us heated and is therefore a lovely temperature at which to do a few lengths.
The International bowling green is an added feature on this complex so if you like a game of bowls now and then, or think you might like to try a game or two whilst on holiday.
Whilst people do holiday at Winter Gardens primarily to play bowls, this is a holiday complex and many more people come here just to enjoy the Tenerife sun than to play. Having said that, try a game whilst you are out there.
Accommodation:
Winter Gardens Tenerife apartments are beautiful, spacious and well designed and are fully equipped, including separate kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, oven and hob, and all the usual kitchen appliances expected with this standard of accommodation.
All the apartments at Winter Gardens Tenerife have full bathroom plus shower room, satellite TV and most have DVD/CD players.
Resort Facilities:
The lovely pool area, with separate children’s pool is heated during the winter months and there is a great poolside snack bar. There is a lift to all floors and Winter Gardens apartments are suitable for the less mobile, as there are ramps throughout. There is a fabulous bistro restaurant.
Everything at hand for the discerning holiday maker, especially families, golfers, and bowlers (bowling green on site). Several self service supermarkets in the immediate vicinity or just few minutes drive large hypermarket and San Blas shopping centre.
The bus services to Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas leave regularly from outside the Winter Gardens Tenerife complex. As the beach is volcanic, for the best swimming beaches we suggest Los Cristianos/Playa de las Americas (15mins drive). Without doubt it is a must to visit Los Abrigos, where you will find a multitude of fish/seafood restaurants serving freshly caught produce just ten minutes walk along the promenade or a few minutes drive.
