By Car
The drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow takes between 2 and 3 hours down the A74 (M).

The drive from the south is up the M6 or from London the M1 and M6/M74 and then the A75. From London it takes approx 6 hours.

Carlisle is only 45 miles away. Newcastle is 90 miles away.

By Ferry
If travelling from Ireland, the main ferry terminals of Stranraer and Cairnryan are only 70 minutes drive away for Stena and P&O ferries.

By Air
Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is around an hour's drive, Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over two hours with the new motorway additions.

By Rail
The nearest railway station is at Dumfries, only 17 miles away. There is also a train station at Lockerbie, where you can get a taxi to the hotel. By Air – The airports at Glasgow (2 hours) and Prestwick, just over an hour's drive away.
