Nestled in the scenic Whicham Valley, surrounded by protected woodland, with beautiful views opening out to the Irish Sea and the finest, freshest country air.

Overlooked by the near-mountain that is Blackcombe and engulfed by its supporting green fells and hills.

Situated close to the magnificent Lake District, yet far away enough to avoid the crowds and still be in the midst of unspoilt natural beauty.

Brockwood Hall is an ideal all year round resort.

With 32 self catering Norwegian lodges of various capacities, we are a picturesque destination.

So whether you are looking for a family holiday, peaceful break from the city, romantic weekend or simply a bed for the night...we can meet your get away needs!

On site facilities include indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and sun shower, outdoor children's play area, lawns for games and BBQ's and a nature trail taking you through the woods and round the resort.

Inside of Brockwood Hall you will find our Bar, Lounge, Restaurant and informative Reception.

Accommodation:
The Derwents are a nice size for the small numbers, be it family, couple's or friends. These lodges give you everything you need for a nice self catering break, at keen prices.

A Derwent consists of 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). The bathroom consists of a full suite, with shower.

In the living area you will find a TV, DVD & CD Unit. Being on a smaller scale, you will feel the warmth. There is also a breakfast bar between the living area and kitchen.

The self catering kitchen contains all the crockery, cutlery & utensils you should need, fridge freezer, oven/grill/hob, toaster, microwave etc.

Derwent lodges sit at the front of the resort, with either a deck-patio or patio. Some go within the start of the woodland, for that extra bit of peace.

Hotel Facilities:
Food And Drink

The Bar & Dining rooms, found inside the historic Brockwood Hall, provide the perfect place for you to relax and chat, either after that long but scenic drive at the beginning of your break, a day out touring the magnificent Lakes, or simply to spend more time with family and friends, as well as meet fellow guests and share your experiences.

Enjoy a taste of the Lakes...

The Head Chef has endeavoured to deliver a menu which offers traditional favourites alongside seasonal flavours. As such we scour a range of local suppliers in order to get the best produce available, as fresh as possible. The food is simple, yet scrumptious.

As well as the main dinner menu, which can be enjoyed in both formal and informal surroundings, you can enjoy bar snacks and there is also a children's menu, so they don't have to be left out.

Leisure Centre

Enjoy a leisurely swim, a fun splash or a relaxing sauna...the Leisure Centre at Brockwood Hall.

The centre is free to use for onsite guests, and is the perfect way to start a day...or burn off any excess energy before settling down for the evening.

Opening times are 9am - 9pm, with the last hour being for adults only.

Please note that this pool is unmanned and as such no children are allowed to enter without responsible supervision (CCTV in operation).

Outdoor Play Area

Just for the kids...

The outdoor play area is a fun place for all the young ones to run down their high energy levels, while meeting new friends and doing what kids love to do!

The rope nets, slide, climbing frame and fireman's pole provide the kids with plenty to let their imagination run wild.

All this is confined into their own little play area.

Together with the natural surroundings and fresh air, the children can really appreciate their own view of Brockwood Hall.

Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Nature Trail

The nature trail at Brockwood Hall is exactly that...a walk through the woods that surround the resort, pretty much as nature wants it to be.

The walk is not too long, but whilst walking it you can enjoy natures finest.

Various wild elements grow in all different seasons, at times a scenic spectacle can be enjoyed.

As well as the growth, there is also a strong element of wildlife.

A badger sett has been active for many years now and, during the dark nights, badgers can be seen emerging ready to get their intake of food.

Deer's are also a sight that will amaze, and on the rare occaion will cross your path as you walk through the woods.

There are a number of birds to look out for and smaller habitants that will catch the eye.

All as Mother Nature intended.

Lawns

At various areas around the resort, you will find lawns that are ideal for year round activities.

Sit on a bench with your tipple of choice, while the kids play games.

Get together as a group and enjoy a traditional barbeque.

Enjoy a romantic weekend with a relaxing picnic.

Whatever you decide to do, you will enjoy it.

The lawns are surrounded by a variety of trees and bushes. The views are a pleasure, and the fresh air and peaceful surroundings round it off perfectly.
