This huge private estate has an historical building at its centre. Broome Park is a relaxing resort with modern log cabins, fine dining, indoor swimming and golf.

Broome Park Golf and Country Club is in Barham, near Canterbury. The 17th-century main house has the restaurant and bar. The accommodation is spread throughout the grounds, in well-equipped woodland cabins. The cabins feature a TV in each bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a fully-fitted kitchen.

The Broome Park grounds feature a full championship golf course, where there are discounts for hotel guests.

At Broome Park, guests can play squash, tennis, croquet and snooker. There is also a gym and a sauna.

The Jacobean Restaurant has an antique crystal chandelier and beautiful countryside views. Sandwiches, children's meals and takeaway menus are available in the Kitchener Bar. The Halfway House offers morning snacks.

Accommodation:
inviting paddock lodges are located in a picturesque woodland setting a short walk away from the main mansion house. Parking is not available directly outside the lodges however every lodge has its own spacious allocated bay just a short walk away, with luggage trolleys available to aid the transportation of your luggage. All the lodges are on one level once inside.Each Lodge has two stylish bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Lodge 6 is adapted and suitable for wheelchair users.

The restaurant is deserving of its reputation for its superb service, high quality and diverse range of cuisine. We offer a fine selection of a la carte meals, all prepared to order using only the freshest local produce from Kent, the Garden of England. The Jacobean Restaurant is sumptuously decorated and features an antique crystal chandelier and the beautiful bay window with views of the rolling lawns and countryside of this ancient estate. Directions & Address:
You can catch a national express coach direct from Stansted, Gatwick and Heathrow airports. These all include a stop off at London central station for around 45 minutes. For more information on departure and arrival times, fares and availability please visit www.nationalexpress.com

Travelling from Stansted you can catch a train to London Liverpool station, from there take the central line westbound to Tottenham court road underground station. Change and take the Northern line Charing Cross branch southbound to London Charing Cross. Take the train then to Canterbury West station.

Travelling from Heathrow you can take the underground Piccadilly line eastbound to Leicester Square station. Change at Leicester Square and take the Northern line, Charing Cross Branch south bound to Charing Cross, Take the train then to Canterbury West station.

Travelling from Gatwick you can catch a train to London Victoria station then from Victoria take a train to Canterbury East station.

Driving: From the M25 orbital motorway join the M2/A2. Follow the M2/A2 and take the exit signposted Folkestone/Crematorium onto the A260 (this is approximately seven miles from the Canterbury exit). Travel along this road taking sign posts for Folkestone for approximately one mile, passing a service station and the Crematorium. Broome Park is located on the right hand side of this road.
