A Grade II-listed building at the heart of Shakespeare’s Stratford, the historic White Swan Hotel is now ready to welcome you following a £3 million refurbishment.

The hotel offers luxury accommodation in Stratford-upon-Avon, while crucially maintaining the charm, character and period features of the original building.

The White Swan dates back to 1450, making it one of the oldest pubs in Stratford – and the front of the hotel is a cosy, traditional pub, continuing to serve outstanding cask ales and the best pub food in town.

The 41 four star guestrooms, marry traditional, original features with modern conveniences like iPod docks, flatscreen TVs and ensuite bathrooms.
One thing not to miss on your visit to this historic Straford-upon-Avon pub is the antique wall painting in one of the front rooms.

Commissioned by William Perrott, who owned the building in 1560, the special painting depicts the story of Tobias and the Angel - a subject doubly appropriate for a tavern of that time.

By Car
You must arrive via Windsor Street which avoids the one way system. Parking is not available at the front of the hotel. The easiest approach is from the M40, Junction 15. Take the A429/A46 towards Stratford.

Use number 12 Windsor Street, CV37 6NL if you are using a Sat Nav.

Just before the cinema, turn left into LPS Windsor Street Carpark. Park on the hatched area at the rear of the hotel while you check in. There two options for parking that will be explained when you arrive:

Pay and display – Recommended for non-residents, from £1 for 30 minutes up to £14 for 24 hours.

Mansell Street – Recommended for residential guests, £8 3pm-11am or £11 for 24 hours. This can be charged to your room bill.
